Who's ready for Turkey Day?? Thanksgiving is just around the corner, so to help you get in the spirit of giving, today I have a free printable for you! These Thankful cards are easy to print and fill out with your friends and family this Thanksgiving. Plus, I have an easy craft project to put the "turkey" in Turkey Day!

When your mom is an elementary school teacher, you learn to always have an assortment of construction paper, scissors and tape sitting around for spur of the moment craft projects. And that's all you'll need to make these fun turkey cards. Use a pencil to trace your hand on the construction paper. Then cut out the shape of your hand to make your turkey!

Next, print out the free Thankful cards and cut out each circle. Use your favorite pen to write what you are thankful for this year, then attach your card to your turkey hand with tape or a glue stick.

If you're feeling really festive, you can dress up your turkey with feathers from the craft store, or add glitter to the fingers of your turkey hand!

That's it! Sometimes the easiest crafts can be the most inspiring. My husband and I had a lot of fun making these together (I have to give him a shoutout for the turkey hand idea!) and I know you'll have fun with your family making your turkey hands too. It's something you can all do together, which is what the holidays are all about!
