As many of you may know, I am the proud owner of two wonderful pugs, Chloe & Maisy, otherwise known as the shop dogs. We adopted Maisy back in December 2013 (feels like it's been much longer!) from the Pacific Pug Rescue, an amazing organization based in Portland, Oregon that fosters pugs in real homes and helps them find furever homes. This organization will always been near and dear to my heart, so when one of the group organizers approached me to re-design the Pacific Pug Rescue's logo, I was ecstatic. I couldn't wait to help! I used both Chloe & Maisy as models to design a simplified pug face that could be used on their company site, social media, t-shirts and other materials. I am thrilled with how the logos came together. We came up with two we all loved, but the circular logo works great for their website and social media uses.

Recently, I had the honor of working with the Pacific Pug Rescue again to design a special ice cream flavor label for their current fundraiser. I loved finding a super chunky, "puggy" font to use for the new flavor, "Pug-elicious".

And the next time you are ready to welcome a dog into your home, please consider adoption! It was the best decision we ever made.
