Inspired by: Austin

I finally had an excuse to visit Texas, and my trip wouldn't be complete without a stop at my best friend's house in Austin. We have been friends since age 6, so even though our visits are few and far between, we always pick up right where we left off. She was so nice to take me around Downtown Austin and very patient as I took a LOT of photos. Here are the highlights from our day in the city! We have been drinking Italian sodas together since we were too young to drink coffee with our moms (because that's what you do in Seattle), so it was pretty special to get them together at the Big Top Candy Shop in the South Congress District. Just looking at this picture makes my mouth water... they were so delicious!

Austin was quirky, fun and a little serious (I mean it is the Capitol of Texas!). My trip certainly did not disappoint. Hope to see ya'll real soon!
